The Orchard Bank Classic MasterCards are issued by HSBC Bank. They are designed for consumers with less than perfect histories who may find difficulty obtaining a CreditCard from many major companies. The online offer features the Household Bank credit card as well as the Orchard Bank MasterCard. The latter is for subprime consumers and includes a secured card offer.

After application, the bank selects the best offer available to you. The Household Bank Card and Other HSBC cards may be offered to applicants with relatively good credit. Subprime consumers may be offered a secured Orchard Bank option.

Rates:
The APR for purchases and balance transfers is based upon a credit review. If you qualify, a fixed Introductory APR, it will apply for a limited number of billing cycles of your Account. You will be notified at the time you receive your card whether you qualify for this introductory rate. After the period for the intro rate has expired, a variable Customary APR will apply.

Some Fees and Charges:
The grace period for purchases is at least 20 days after the close of the previous billing cycle on new credit card purchases, provided you paid your previous balance in full.

Some cards feature is no annual fee.

There is a cash advance fee on balance transfers, any advance by credit card, check, through an ATM or over the counter and for all other advances. The amount of Cash Advances may be limited.

There is an overlimit fee. Note that accessing all or most of your available credit line may result in an overlimit fee.
